Having found the magical means to conjure arrows for their bows, the paladins continued their efforts to create more sophisticated ammunition. The Poisoned Arrow spell was one of the results of this painstaking research. Developed with the help of experienced druids who shared their knowledge on all kinds of toxins with the paladins, the poisoned arrow is basically a regular arrow imbued with powerful venom. This makes the missile altogether more effective and pretty easy to use - simply hit your enemy anywhere, then hide and watch him fade away! Unless the creature you have hit is immune it will slowly take damage and perhaps even die from the poison. The Poisoned Arrow spell is recommended even though it requires more mana than the regular Conjure Arrow spell. |
